Plain-English summary

We collect the minimum needed to run a prediction market: account identifiers from Privy, your trading activity to compute balances and rankings, and basic technical logs to keep the service stable. We do not sell your data. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

1. What we collect

Account identifier — verified email, Google email, Privy user ID, and/or public wallet address, depending on how you sign in.
Display profile — chosen display name, XP, rank, streak.
Trading activity — your $INARI balance, market positions, trades, limit orders, market creations, and resolutions.
Technical logs — IP address, user-agent, request timestamps. Used for rate limiting, abuse detection, and operational debugging.
Analytics — anonymous page-view and event data via PostHog. Anonymized by default; we do not link analytics to your email.
Errors — error reports via Sentry, scrubbed of personal fields where possible.

2. Why we collect it

To run your account (sign in, balance, positions, leaderboards).
To prevent abuse (rate limits, spam detection, multi-account checks).
To improve the product (which features get used, which break).

3. Who we share it with

We use third-party services to operate the platform. These receive only what they need to do their job:

Supabase — database hosting and legacy auth fallback.
Vercel — application hosting and CDN.
Privy — email, Google, and wallet authentication.
Resend — transactional email delivery.
Upstash — rate limit cache.
PostHog — anonymized product analytics.
Sentry — error reporting.
OpenAI — AI-assisted market creation and Fox commentary; your prompts and market questions are sent to OpenAI's API.

We do not sell personal data and do not share it with advertisers.

4. Public data

Your display name, trading activity on individual markets, position sizes, and leaderboard rank are public by design — that is the product. Email addresses and wallet addresses are masked in public surfaces.

5. Cookies

We set a session cookie to keep you logged in and a JWT cookie for refresh. We do not set advertising cookies. Analytics cookies from PostHog are anonymized.

6. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

You can ask us to: access the data we hold about you, correct it, export it, or delete your account and associated personal data. Contact hello@inari.marketsfrom the email address linked to your account. We'll respond within 30 days.

Note: trading history that has already been resolved and counted in leaderboards may be retained in anonymized form for the integrity of public market history.

7. Retention

We keep account and trading data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, identifying fields (email, wallet) are removed; aggregate trading and resolution records may be retained anonymously for market integrity.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. See also our Terms of Service.
